Carbohydrates are an important fuel for before, during, and following exercise but our body stores a limited amount in the skeletal muscle and liver, so carbohydrates must be replenished on a daily basis.
The latissimus dorsi muscle, or lats for short, is a back muscle that extends from our iliac crest (waist) all the way up to our axilla (armpit).
This muscle is commonly overlooked but can be a culprit in forward head tilt, a functional muscle imbalance.
