Changing How You Train

Yoga Athletex is Houston’s first athletic training facility offering sport specific yoga and performance breathwork.

Tired of your training routine? Feel like something is missing? Has your performance plateaued? Are you overtrained or have you had recurring injuries?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, Yoga Athletex is your new home to train. Whether you’re a youth athlete with an eye on a Division 1 scholarship, a retired adult athlete looking to balance your training or an athlete fresh out of rehab, we mindfully personalize our training to your needs and skills.

Who Is Yoga Athletex?

We are Kalynn and Patricia, sisters and co-founders of Yoga Athletex. As lifelong athletes, we each experienced injuries, challenges and success in training.

We started Yoga Athletex in 2013 to provide the support we wished we had when we were active in sports. After countless injuries, rigorous and unbalanced training, we followed our passions for athletic performance and yoga to learn how things could be done better.

Our greatest joy and biggest passion are to support athletes in their development.  We’re here to help you meet and exceed your goals, using methods based on new, proven research that improves performance while preventing injury. We’re particularly passionate about providing safe and empowering spaces for female athletes to reach all new levels of sport performance through personalized, innovative training.

To provide a platform and community for current and former athletes to be active for life, from all over the world, through functional movement + yoga for athletes + performance breathwork + performance meditation + mobility.
