YAX Athlete of the Month – January 2016

Each month, Yoga Athletex selects an athlete that is a role model both on and off the court. This selection represents our Athlete of the Month Award. In order to receive this award, we look for quite a bit of criteria; participation, attendance, attitude, effort, heart, inquiry and much more. This award should not be taken lightly as it requires many qualities and abilities.

What does the award entail? Not only does the winner get recognition organization wide, the winner receives an official YAX T-shirt, one private lesson, and a “pop party”! A “pop party” includes popsicles for the athletes entire team after training.

So, who is the recipient of this month’s award you ask?

Drumroll please…

The YAX Athlete of the Month Award goes to …… Dylan Maberry!

So proud of Dylan! I have had the pleasure of coaching her through her developmental years. Her God given talent and abilities were noticed immediately. Her work ethic and drive to get better are seen every time she gets on the court. This kid is going places and Houston Skyline is lucky to have her !! :) Way to go, Dylan!!
