Our May Athlete of the Month is Wendy Granger! We’d like to give a shoutout to Wendy for consistently bringing her hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm into the studio and via livestream.
1. How long have you been practicing/training at Yoga Athletex?
I have been a member of Yoga Athletex for about 4 years.
2. What benefits have you received since training at Yoga Athletex?
I have received so many benefits from working out at Yoga Athletex, both physically and mentally. The variation of the stations in the HIIT classes targets the whole body and you see immediate results. Having a solid yoga practice benefits your mind, body, and spirit. Yoga is a good way for your body to recover from either an intense workout or the normal stresses in everyday life.
3. What is your sport/activity outside of the studio?
Gardening! I was a dancer back in the old days. I love how all the instructors are so knowledgeable about proper body alignment. It feels like you have a personal trainer in every class.
4. What is your favorite class at Yoga Athletex and why?
I can’t say I have a favorite. I love both the yoga and HIIT classes for different reasons. You need them both for a well-rounded workout schedule. The instructors are the best ever!
5. Any advice for new people trying out the studio?
I would recommend everybody to try this place. If you want knowledgeable instructors and a cool, fun place to work out this is the place.
