Big shout out to our Athlete of the Month, Jordan! We absolutely love training you and are so proud of all that you have accomplished! Jordan took 23 Yoga and HIIT classes in the month of August. Keep up the good work Jordan!

1. How long have you been practicing/training at Yoga Athletex?

I have been training at YAX since the beginning of the summer in June. I signed up for the summer special to give it a shot!

2. What benefits have you received since training at Yoga Athletex?

Since I started training at Yoga Athletex I feel like I’m more flexible. I was really tight and the yoga classes have helped me a lot! I think my vertical leap is getting better from the jump classes too. The workouts are fun and I know I’m getting stronger, it feels great!

3. What is your sport/activity outside of the studio?

Outside of the studio I love to play volleyball! It’s my favorite sport and it’s why I’m working hard to get better! I’m on Skyline’s 14 Black team this season.

4. What is your favorite class at Yoga Athletex and why?

My favorite class at Yoga Athletex is Yoga Restore. I love to go in the studio and relax and rest my body after a good workout or practice.

5. Any advice for new people trying out the studio?

I would say to anyone looking to try out Yoga Athletex that it is a really cool gym with lots of different classes to take! I was nervous at first but everyone there makes me feel welcome. I didn’t know anything about yoga and after taking classes all summer I love it! The trainers make the workouts fun too, if your looking for a gym or yoga or both this place is for you!!
